Collections Strengths: Navarretia
Beecher Crampton (the late curator of the herbarium) researched the genus Navarretia (Polemoniaceae) for his dissertation research. Botanists from many different herbaria sent their Navarretia collections to Beecher for identification, and as a result, we have an excellent, well-curated collection of the genus. The label data from all of our California Navarretia specimens have been databased and are available on-line.
