Davis
Botanical Society
|
The Davis Botanical Society
was established in 1999 to support the
collections and programs of both the UC Davis Center for Plant Diversity and the UC
Davis
Botanical Conservatory. Membership gifts directly support membership
activities
and outreach materials, the programs of the Center for Plant Diversity and Botanical Conservatory,
student
research grants, and publication of our newsletter Lasthenia.
The Society hosts
a series of events, classes, open houses, and field trips each year
(see calendar).

Davis Botanical Society Volunteers
The Davis Botanical Society welcomes volunteers to help
us with the
Society's field trips, presentations, mailings, newsletter, and many
other
activities. We are a friendly group of plant enthusiasts that
love to
learn more about plants and get outdoors to see them! Our field
trips are
memorable for both the plants that we see and the true enjoyment of the
participants. We need your ideas, energy, and dedication - please
contact
us!
