Herbarium Highlights

  • Take the Herbarium tour with Joe Ditomaso and learn how to identify common weeds using methods employed in professional settings like the U.C. Davis herbarium and also the latest and easiest techniques that employ the use of sophisticated computer programs available to the public.

The UC Davis Center for Plant Diversity has received two National Science Foundation grants! The first, in collaboration with the Consortium of California Herbaria, is for databasing specimens of California plants that are likely to be affected by our changing climate. The second is for creating a Euphorbiaceae website with images and taxonomic resources for identifying several large genera; see: Webster Virtual Herbarium and Links.
